February 29 2012 - Campus2Career
Co-op and Career Services is hosting a month-long event in March called Campus2Career.
Campus2Career will focus on helping our graduating students make the transition from their studies to the work world. While the focus is on graduating students at the undergraduate and graduate level, it's never too early for all students to begin their career exploration too.
Students are invited to register for a number of new career workshops, panel discussions and networking events. They will meet industry leaders, our great grads and employers to gain career advice and make those valuable connections.
Our common goal at Carleton is to see all our students successfully employed, applying their skills to the craft they've honed after many years of study.
I ask you to encourage your students - whether they are first-years or graduating PhD students - to attend Campus2Career events. There are events for every student!
Our marquee events include: the New Grad and Alumni Career Fair on March 7, Net Night on March 20, and panel discussions for BA students about how to market this valuable degree in the business world on March 6 and 27.
For a complete list of events, please go to: www.carleton.ca/c2c.
